Last weekend I went to the horse races in Arlington here in Chicago. It was so much fun. I was on call and afraid I would be called out the hole time, but lucky me I got to stay.
This was my first time every going to a horse race. My room mate Cheslea's friends taught us how to bet on them, but I only bet on them in my head. Good thing to, because my horses never won.
It was freezing the entire time, but I would definatly do it again!!!

Cali and the Mini
I had a fun passed weekend off. The first day I went home to Tremonton to visit the parents and then went to Cali to visit my friends Lydia and Markuk. When I got in Markus picked me up from the airport. Then Lydia, Markus, I and some of their friends went for a bike ride and out for dessert. The next day we lounged by the pool, went out and ate chinease and watched lots of tv. It was nice and relaxing :)
I also got to drive My friend's old '85 mini from England. It was kinda fun to be on the wrong side of the car driving. It always felt like you were going so fast, but it was soooooo fun!!!!

Lots of Delays
I just got back from a 3 day trip full of delays...
It started off in Savannah. The Weather was so nice and warm when we got there, but later that night tornado warnings were everywhere. Just as we loaded people on the plane we were grounded because of tornados 40 miles to the north. We took all the passangers off. The wind was crazy and there was tons of rain. 2 hours later we left.
Then when we were back in Chicago we had radar problems and were grounded longer....
We finally got it fixed and left for Moline and got stuck there. They weren't letting anyone in to Chicago...if we would have been delayed 15 more minutes, our flight would have been cancelled.
Oh well, It just made life interesting!!!!

I went to Oregon to visit my sister’s family for 4 days. It was mostly a Chase weekend. Chase turned 4 years old on the May 7. We had a fun birthday party for him. He also graduated from Preschool. It was so fun to go to his school and see him sing and get his certificate.
We also got to go out and do some fun stuff. One day we went to Ontario and had a picnic in the park. I loved helping the boys play on the big toys and just run around the park.
Aden came home off his mission, so now I have a single person to hang out with. I was starting to feel outnumbered. We mostly worked on the farm. I got to move pipe and watch them plant corn. I like getting out and doing work I don’t do all the time. It was also good to get out in the nice clean air.
I was sad that I had to leave and come back home. I felt like I was just getting settled in. Oh well, Its good I’m a flight attendant and can travel lots!!!

Rain
It was raining on the way home from the airport this morning. This was a huge rain storm. I could see the rain coming down in sheets!! It looked like translucent ribbon blowing in the wind. I got drenched when I was walking home. I love how warm it was and that the air had a clean fresh smell to it. I thought about running but I enjoyed the rain on my face way too much. I do need to invest in an umbrella though.
